Augusta Celebrates Children’s Center Day |
AUGUSTA, Maine – The pouring rain did not stop the Children’s Center and its many supporters from celebrating the unveiling of its new playground on Friday, June 19th. The Children’s Center was joined by First Lady Karen Baldacci, Senate President Libby Mitchell, Representative and Children’s Center board member Patsy Crockett, Augusta Mayor Roger Katz, and Center supporters David and Kaye Flanagan among others to give thanks to the many businesses, groups, and individuals who contributed to creating the most unique playground in Augusta.
