The Children’s Center, a nonprofit early intervention and family support program for children ages birth through 5 years with special needs, is seeking an enthusiastic individual who loves working to support children in a multi-disciplinary team environment. Children’s Behavioral Health Professional (BHP) provides direct community support services to children ages two (2) to six (6) years of age diagnosed with functional limitations. The BHP will implement an individualized treatment plan that assists the child to obtain skills. The BHP may provide home- or center-based services to both individuals and groups and work as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Individual must have at least two years' experience providing services to children and/or families preferred. Experience with special needs, at risk and mental health population preferred. Must be at least 18 years of age with High School Diploma or GED. Must hold a valid driver’s license, have a reliable vehicle and maintain adequate auto insurance. There are (2) job openings, one is in Augusta and one is in Skowhegan. Hours/schedule flexible. This is a part-time position with potential to leaad to full time. The Children’s Center offers a competitive benefits package and continuing education support for employees working 30 or more hours per week.
